DESCRIPTION: Unpasteurized Manuka honey in 250g format and MGO 250+ content, originally from New Zealand, which differs from other honeys due to its Methylglyoxal (MGO) content, a natural compound responsible for its activity and much of its properties.
Manuka honey is produced by bees in southern New Zealand and is harvested 4 to 6 weeks a year. Only a few beekeepers are able to harvest and guarantee the quality of this honey, through strict controls throughout the entire production and processing process, closely monitored by the country's authorities.

Certified to contain at least 250mg/kg of methylglyoxal.
Manuka honey is a honey produced when bees use the nectar of the manuka flower ( Leptospermum scoparium ), a plant native to New Zealand and Australia. At least 70% of the nectar used by the bees must come from this plant for the resulting honey to be considered manuka honey. In addition to sharing its antiseptic and regenerative properties with other honeys, manuka honey stands out for its methylglyoxal content , a compound with great antiseptic power. The more methylglyoxal, the more antiseptic the honey is. The scale that indicates that manuka honey has more or less antiseptic power is the UMF (“Unique Manuka Factor”) . There are bibliographies or websites that indicate that above 10 UMF manuka honey is already more potent than other honeys, but there is still much research to be done on its potency and properties.
